Peeka & Co. is a values-driven online marketplace that offers expertly vetted play essentials and brands aligned with ethical production practices, safety, credibility, inclusion, and education. Peeka & Co. provide a unique shopping experience that helps parents choose products aligned with their family values while also offering credible information and support for informed decision-making.
Peeka & Co. partnered with us to develop their business plan and brand strategy, resulting in a comprehensive brand book that established their name, personality, and visual identity. We also created a website that prioritizes design and technical scalability to support long-term growth. Our collaboration set the foundation for the brand’s positioning as a marketplace and resource centre for baby and toddler play essentials.
The Logo
The logo features a custom logotype, with lowercase e’s mixed with uppercase letters to create a unicase typesetting. This is inspired by the expression ‘sharing the same table’, reflecting a space for all ages to learn together. The addition of a floating old-style ampersand adds a playful element, while the final dot provides balance to the overall design.
The Illustrations
The illustrations are characterized by lively, hand-drawn shapes and textures that take inspiration from nature, adding a sense of joy and liveliness. The shapes include an array of elements, from clouds, mountains, and flowers to trees, stars, and animals, as well as abstract shapes inspired by the wonder of exploration, learning and play.
